Kai Butterfield

I’m a BSc sound Engineering student at Salford University. I am passionate about recording, mixing and mastering music.

I have written original music and designed sound effects for multiple Arts Council funded projects, helping bring my local community together through the arts. I also have experience in a range of acoustic testing for buildings, materials and speakers.

I have experience composing and recording a five-piece orchestra as well as independent artists. I also have experience in live sound, working as the Sound Operator for a university production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Within this website are examples of live recording, sound design for film, original compositions, acoustic testing, sound installations and recordings of musicians and an audiobook.
